Legal
Terms & Conditions
These terms form an agreement between you and MBT, which operates the Much Before Transformation platform (MBT) — "the Service".
Version 1.1 · Effective 30 August 2026 · Pending legal review
This document has been drafted for accuracy against how the platform actually works and has not yet been reviewed by external legal counsel.
1. Who you are contracting with
MBT — Much Before Transformation. MBT is the master brand; Much Before Transformation (MBT) is the product delivered through this website. The Service is provided by MBT (operating entity: [Legal entity — To be confirmed]). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service you agree to these terms. If you accept on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it; if you accept as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age.
2. The Service
MBT is a research and analysis platform for HR transformation. It produces scenarios, problem analyses, roadmaps, technology evaluations and exportable reports based on public sources and your own inputs. Outputs are decision support, not professional legal, financial, tax or HR compliance advice, and must be reviewed by a competent person before you act on them.
3. Access and accounts
- Access is limited to verified business email addresses; personal mailboxes are not permitted.
- You must keep your login credentials confidential and are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- We may withdraw access if your email address is removed from the approved list.
4. Licence and restrictions
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan. You may not reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the Service, or circumvent technical or usage limits.
5. Acceptable use
- No unlawful use, fraud or spam.
- No infringement of intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
- No interference with the security or integrity of the Service — no malware, probing, scanning or unauthorised scraping.
- No use of the Service to generate content that is illegal, deceptive, hateful, or that impersonates a real person.
- You are responsible for your prompts and inputs, for verifying outputs, and for holding the rights to any content you submit.
6. AI-generated output
Parts of the Service use AI models. Output may be incomplete or inaccurate and is labelled by evidence strength (fact, evidence, inference or hypothesis) precisely because confidence varies. Do not rely on output for regulated professional advice without human oversight. We may filter, refuse or restrict outputs, remove content, and suspend accounts for repeated misuse. Rights-holders can raise a takedown request at satrajitsengupta@zohomail.in; repeat infringement leads to termination.
7. Intellectual property
MBT retains rights in its proprietary software, methodology, documentation, templates, taxonomies, databases, prompts, platform architecture, frameworks and branding, subject to applicable third-party rights and licences. Nothing on this website should be read as a claim that generic HR concepts, terminology or industry practices are owned by us; what is proprietary is the specific expression, structure, taxonomy, relationships, mappings and implementation used by MBT.
The Service includes third-party and open-source components used under their own licences. We make no claim of exclusive ownership over those components, and we do not remove attribution required by their licences.
We make no claim that any mark, methodology or material is registered, patented or patent pending.
7a. Your content and the outputs you generate
- Customer inputs: information you provide (scope, geographies, problem descriptions, uploaded documents) remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service.
- Customer outputs: reports, analyses, mind maps, roadmaps and exports generated for you may be used internally by your organisation for its own decision-making, subject to these terms.
- Third-party source material: public and licensed-free sources cited in outputs remain owned by their publishers and are used subject to their terms; you are responsible for how you reuse quoted or cited material.
- AI-assisted material: parts of an output may be produced with AI assistance and are provided as decision support, not as verified fact.
- Underlying platform IP: use of the Service does not transfer to you any ownership of the underlying software, methodology, algorithms, prompts, taxonomy, databases, templates, platform architecture or proprietary frameworks — including where these are reflected in an output you receive.
- You may not use outputs to reconstruct, benchmark-clone, resell or build a competing methodology, taxonomy or dataset.
This allocation is drafted for commercial clarity and is pending review by qualified legal counsel before commercial launch.
7b. Confidential information
- Our confidential information includes the master prompt architecture, system prompts, scoring and weighting logic, source-selection rules, scenario and problem taxonomy, transformation mappings, decision logic, proprietary datasets, research templates and internal evaluation criteria. You must not attempt to extract, reverse engineer, scrape, copy or disclose them.
- Your confidential information includes the inputs, documents and outputs tied to your account. We handle these under this agreement and the Privacy Notice, and we do not disclose them to other customers.
- Each customer's research, reports, files and account data are isolated. Access is enforced by server-side authorisation and database policies, not by hiding controls in the interface.
- Attempting to access another account's data, or any administrative or internal function, is a material breach and may be unlawful.
7c. Copyright and IP infringement reports
If you believe material on this website or in an output infringes your rights, send a notice identifying the material, its location, the right you rely on, and your contact details to satrajitsengupta@zohomail.in. We will review, respond, and remove or restrict material where a claim is substantiated. Repeat infringement by a user leads to termination.
7d. Academic lineage, nominative citation and no endorsement
MBT describes the published research tradition its method is built on and names the authors of that research — including Karl Popper, Judea Pearl, Eliyahu M. Goldratt, Eric Trist, Fred Emery, Igor Ansoff, Francis Aguilar, Paul DiMaggio, Walter Powell, Barney Glaser, Anselm Strauss, Ralph Keeney and Howard Raiffa. These names and the titles of their works are used solely as factual, nominative academic references to identify the theory being credited.
- No endorsement: none of the named authors, their heirs or estates, their publishers, or their affiliated universities, institutes or professional bodies sponsors, certifies, endorses, reviews or is affiliated with the Service.
- No affiliation or certification: nothing on this website constitutes accreditation, licensing, certification or authorised-partner status in relation to any named author, institution or body of work.
- Original expression: every description, summary, operational rule, interface, diagram and line of code in the Service is our own original expression. It is not a reproduction, translation, abridgement or authorised derivative of any cited publication, and no substantial extract of any copyrighted text is reproduced.
- Ideas are not owned: scientific theories, methods and principles are not capable of copyright protection. We claim no ownership of the underlying theories, and we do not represent that our interpretation is the authors' own.
- Trade marks: any third-party names or marks referenced remain the property of their respective owners and are used descriptively, not as marks of origin for the Service.
- Interpretation risk: our plain-language summaries are simplifications intended for practical use and may not reflect the full scope, nuance or later revisions of the original scholarship. Readers should consult the cited primary works.
- Correction channel: any author, estate, publisher or institution may request review, clarification, amendment or removal of a reference, and we will respond and act promptly on substantiated requests.

8. Service levels
We work to keep the Service available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Research depends on third-party sources and models that may change or become unavailable.
9. Access, usage levels and fees
Access to the Service is granted by an administrator. Every approved account starts on Level 1, which includes a defined allowance of research passes, one Current Affairs Radar scan and watermarked exports, with no time limit. An administrator may move an account to a higher usage level.
We do not sell subscriptions through this website and no payment details are collected here. There is no checkout, no payment gateway and no automatic renewal. Where a commercial arrangement exists, it is agreed separately in writing and outside the Service.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may cancel at any time. On termination you may export your saved research for 30 days, after which data may be deleted.
11. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow exclusion.
12. Indemnity
You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.
13. General
You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it in a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MBT is established, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction. We may update these terms and will change the "last updated" date above.
